Leadership Tri-County Announces Class of 2027
Leadership Tri-County is proud to introduce the Class of 2027, a group of emerging and established leaders representing Knox, Laurel, and Whitley counties. Throughout their nine-month journey, participants will have the opportunity to learn, serve, and grow together while building connections across southeastern Kentucky. Running from September 2026 through May 2027, the program combines regional site visits, leadership development activities, and networking opportunities to inspire collaboration and strengthen communities throughout the Tri-County area.
“One of the most valuable parts of Leadership Tri-County is the relationships that are built throughout the year. Bringing people together from across our region allows them to learn from each other, grow as leaders, and build connections that can make a difference in our communities. These relationships are what make the program so special and will continue long after the year is over,” said Lee Richardson, Leadership Tri County Board Chairman.
The Class of 2027 represents Leadership Tri-County’s continued commitment to developing strong, engaged community leaders. Selected for their leadership potential, dedication, and passion for making a difference, these individuals will gain valuable skills, broaden their understanding of the region, and build lasting relationships. Through their participation, they will not only grow as leaders but also contribute to the continued growth and success of southeastern Kentucky.
